John is a qualified accountant and registered tax agent. John is married to Lynda, and together they have four daughters and a couple of son in laws. He was educated at Westfields High, Fairfield West, NSW and obtained a degree at Macquarie (BA in Mathematics), he is as Associate of the Institute of Actuaries and also has a Financial Management Diploma from New England University. He completed his CPA with the Australian Society of CPA's and is now in public practice. He spent 17 years in the areas of insurance and since April 1984 as a practising accountant. The SMSF Professionals' Association of Australia Limited ("SPAA") represents professional advisors who provide advice in the highly complex area of SMSFs advice. We are committed to raising industry standards and looking after the needs of SMSF professionals across Australia regardless of their other professional affiliations or memberships. SPAA’s core focus is to raise the standard of advice provided by all professionals within the SMSF Industry. The association is committed to promoting a high standard of education among SMSF professionals and assisting them to work within regulatory framework. This, in turn, will assist the industry to self-regulate and promote best practice. SPAA is the leading professional association for all SMSF professionals within Australia, including but not limited to accountants, auditors, financial planners, lawyers, risk providers, actuaries, administrators, educators etc. Without doubt SPAA is acknowledged as being the peak body for all professional advisors within the SMSF industry in Australia. JOHN HYPATIDIS
Janette has been our assistant accountant and she is currently enrolled in the CPA Program Professional Level, having graduated from a Diploma of International Business through the University of New England at the end of 2009. She also completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management in 2007. She is a Qualified Registered Nurse graduating from Newcastle University and also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Peri Operative Nursing through UTS.
Matthew joined our team on a full time basis in 2007. He has had an extensive background in the Motor Industry. He is your man to contact for any Leasing and Insurance information. He came a close second in the TAFE bookkeeping course in June 2007. He recently completed a Financial Services course with Kaplan in 2009 and is happy to talk to you about any financial matters.
Nathanial has joined our team in 2008 on a part-time basis as a junior accountant. He has completed an Advanced Diploma of Accounting in 2008. Before starting with us, he worked with an accounting firm in Erina, and he is now currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting through Newcastle University.
Taylor joined out team in 2009. He completed high school at Greenpoint Christian College in 2008. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Oral, majoring in Dentistry. He currently works on a part time basis as our administrator's assistant.
